My follicles are growing slowly. Should I worry?

Follicles do not all grow at the same speed. One scan rarely tells the whole story.

What you should know

Your team reviews follicle size, hormone tests, and changes over time. Slow growth may lead to more days of medicine or a different plan. It does not always mean the cycle will fail. Ask what the next scan will help decide.

What to ask your care team

“What are you watching, and what would make you change the plan?”

One important reminder

Do not increase a medicine dose on your own.

Before your next visit

Write down your questions. Bring your medicine list and any test results you have. Ask for a plan in writing. If an answer is not clear, ask your team to explain it in a different way.
