Should I change fertility clinics?

It is reasonable to seek another opinion if you do not understand the plan or feel your concerns are not heard.

What you should know

Compare more than headline success rates. Ask about care quality, lab practices, costs, access, communication, and how a clinic treats patients like you. Success rates can differ because clinics see different groups of patients. Get copies of your test and lab records.

What to ask your care team

“What would another clinic do differently, and why?”

One important reminder

A higher published rate does not prove a clinic is better for you.

Before your next visit

Write down your questions. Bring your medicine list and any test results you have. Ask for a plan in writing. If an answer is not clear, ask your team to explain it in a different way.
